Julian was nothing short of fantastic during the purchase of our first home. He was very responsive (typically within a couple minutes over text) and could always be reached by calling, especially when we have numerous questions with nuances, which Julian clearly articulated so that we understood the decision. When we were getting together all our paperwork for the pre-approval, Julian patiently walked us through all the things he needed and quickly wrapped up issues we encountered given our unique circumstances.

While working with Julian, we submitted four offers which required Julian to update his paperwork, which he did with a stunning quick turnaround. He was also great working with our realtor to develop a game plan from pre-approval, putting in an offer, escrow, and closing. We encountered various potential roadblocks and each time, Julian was able to give us different scenarios and how to get through each one.

  I needed a loan to buy a house and worked with loan officer Julian Yuen. Thanks to him, he made the experience as least stressful as possible. The great thing about Julian is that he's so good with communication! This was my first time applying for a loan and I felt nervous -- but he patiently explained everything I needed to know, answered every question I had, and was great on email and text keeping me updated. I told him I liked to have checklists, so he made a checklist for me and marked things off. He was knowledgeable and gave his expert advice but was never pushy and always listened to my opinions too. We locked in a great interest rate (well... relatively great in this economy...) and I am very happy with how the whole process went. I never felt blindsided, and always felt like he was looking out for me.

On top of everything, Julian is a friendly and warm person! It was great to chat on the phone with him to talk about home ownership and what that meant.
